Recycling centers are mean to limit humanity’s impact on the environment. By recycling and reusing materials, such as glass, plastic, and metal, we can improve the world we live in. Recycling achieves this by limiting the number of harmful chemicals and greenhouse gases that are released from waste in landfill sites.
Using a recycling center can also save energy. Instead of expending large sums of energy to harvest and convert materials and then transport and produce pertinent products, recycling allows us to conserve that energy. By the same token, it also helps to preserve the natural resources as they do not need for new products.
